Sample Design & Preparaion

For each product line we have a dedicated staff of highly experienced senior personnel working in a dedicated sample production room to translate customer requirements into a high quality finished product.

Our products are tailored to international standards using customer provided specifications for materials, sizing, colors, quantities, and performance requirements. Normally the customer will provide a product image, eg. a drawing or photograph, or a product sample.

Next our sample production staff will work with procurement to obtain materials, and prepare cutting patterns using our CAD systems or by hand as appropriate. These are then used to cut and sew sample products for Customer inspection and approval.

Sample Room Staff are responsible to optimize material use to minimize waste and they participate in product cost development and production planning.

Staffing in our sample production rooms at present is:
Tents 40people including 5 designers
Sleeping bags 30 people including 3 designers
Rucksacks 15 people including 4 designers
Garments 25 people including 5 designers
